How we Started:
Living The American Dream.
In 1976, with very little money and a basic education, the Attisha Family left Iraqto live here in the United States. Possessing strong family morals and love for each other, they knew that they would succeed.
The Attisha Family understood that by pooling their money and resources together, they would have a stronger
family base and would eventually create their own opportunity to expand as individuals.

In their combined effort to obtain the American dream, each family member started out by working odd jobs. For
many years the family shared minimal living quarters. Through their hard work and perseverance the family was
finally able to save the necessary capital to buy an empty store on 12th and "G" street in downtown San Diego.
This small, humble store would emerge to be the backbone of what is now an economic empire for the Attisha
Family--and truly an American success story.
Together Parents Yelda and Mary, their sons Steve, Amad, Ayad, Raad, Mark and daughter Buthaina make up the
Attisha Family--one of the most successful families in the community.
By their kind appearance and humble attitudes you would never know that Today they own 65.
These 65 gasoline stations / convenience store provide over 300 job opportunities.
Their acquired success comes from many years of hard work, and a collective effort from each and every family
member, Along with a continued focus to provide quality service at safe locations for our customers, as well as
give jobs to people that are trying to help themselves.

Company Goals and Objectives |
Company goal is to have a healthy, successful company that is a leader in customer service and that has a loyal customer following.
Company objectives when acquiring a new facility is within 24 months, to have annual sales increases for gasoline and convenience store sales of double digit percentages respectively, and to maintain a conservative growth thereafter.
This will be achieved by competitive pricing and by customer service. |
